Afghan weather varies greatly from one region to another due to geography and altitude. A multi-destination tour of Afghanistan will therefore include travel to different climates. Travel from March to May and September to November may require you pack for both winter and summer conditions. The primary tour season in Afghanistan begins in March and runs through November. Tours can also run during the winter months but some mountain passes may be closed.
