Kunduz

If there is Wild West in Afghanistan, it is Kunduz.  Cars definitely take a second place to horses, and colorfully decorated horse-drawn carriages serve as taxis.  With only one major roundabout, one gets the feeling that the bazaar covers half the town.  This is a great place to buy Kunduz-style prayer caps and the long chapan robes made famous by Hamid Karzai.
